Storm sewer - the ideal solution for removing, collecting and cleaning snow or rain. The elements of storm sewer include storm-water inlets, flumes, outdoor pipes, rainwater filters and stormwater pipes. Storm sewer serves to protect the foundations of engineering and architectural structures from damage and destruction caused by precipitation.

Kalush Pipe Plant (KPP)

Kalush Pipe Plant is one of the companies of international Group POLYPLASTIC in Ukraine. The main purpose of KPP is meeting the demand for high quality plastic pipe production in the western regions of Ukraine

Kalush Pipe Plant

It was decided to build a second Ukrainian company POLYPLASTIC in Kalush at the beginning of 2008, when the highest growth rate of new construction and reconstruction of outdated utilities has led to increased demand on polymer pipe products in Ukraine. Of the many cities in western Ukraine Kalush was not chosen by chance. Pipes of suspension polyvinylchloride were to be one of the KPP products, and in terms of transportation of raw materials has a great location for the plant - in close proximity to the domestic producer of PVC-C - the "Karpatneftekhim" company.

The area occupied by Kalush Pipe Plant is of 9 acres. There are three workshops for plastic pipes, manufacturing, two administrative buildings, indoor storage of raw materials, as well as equipped with an area for storing the finished products with a total area of 6 hectares.

The company was built in one year, and in the second quarter of 2009 mass production of polyethylene pipes for pressure water began. KPP produces plastic water pipes with diameters from 20 to 450 mm in accordance with the requirements of DSTU B V.2.7-151: 2009 "polyethylene pipes for cold water." In 2010, polyethylene pipes for gas supply with a diameter of 20 mm to 400 mm according to DSTU B V.2.7-73-98 "Polyethylene pipes for delivery of combustible gases" was staged at the production.

The next stage of the KPP's development was production of suspension polyvinylchloride pipes for pressure water and sewerage. In the second quarter of 2010, the company has released the first batch of PVC pipes. Two extrusion lines of the factory manufacture pipes with S-PVC, diameter from 90 mm to 400 mm.

Pipe products manufactured by Kalush pipe plant pass all required tests in our own factory testing laboratory, as well as in the best equipped to date testing laboratory of polyethylene pipes in Ukraine - Rubezhansky pipe plant Laboratory.

Production

Polyethylene pipes

Polyethylene pipes for pressure water intended for the construction and reconstruction of water mains outside the housing and industrial use. Also pipes made of polyethylene can transport other liquid and gaseous media, to which polyethylene shows chemical resistance.

KPP produces polyethylene water pipes in accordance with DSTU B V.2.7-151: 2008, "Polyethylene pipes for cold water. Specifications".

Pipes are made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) grades of PE 80, PE 100 and PE 100+ in the range of diameters from 20 mm, 25 mm, 32 mm, 40 mm, 50 mm, 63 mm, 75 mm, 90 mm, 110 mm, 125 mm, 140 mm, 160 mm, 180 mm, 200 mm, 225 mm, 250 mm, 280 mm, 315 mm, 355 mm, 400 mm, 450 mm with SDR 6, SDR 7,4, SDR 9, SDR 11, SDR 13,6, SDR 17, SDR 17,6, SDR 21, SDR 26.

Polyethylene pipes for gas are used for transporting combustible gases and are assigned for the construction and reconstruction of gas supply networks. Pipes made of PE gas pipelines are manufactured in accordance with KPP in DSTU B V.2.7-73-98 "Polyethylene pipes for delivery of combustible gases." Low-pressure polyethylene grades of PE 80 and PE 100 is used as a raw material for production of gas pipes. Pipes are produced in diameters ranging 20 mm, 25 mm, 32 mm, 40 mm, 50 mm, 63 mm, 75 mm, 90 mm, 110 mm, 125 mm, 140 mm, 160 mm, 180 mm, 200 mm, 225 mm, 250 mm, 280 mm, 315 mm, 355 mm, 400 mm with standard dimensional ratios - SDR 11 and SDR 17,6.

KPP has the technical evidence of MinRegionStroy Ukraine on all polyethylene for the production of pipes for water and gas.

Pipes made of suspension polyvinylchloride

PVC pipes for pressure water are produced in accordance with DSTU B 2.7-141:2007 "unplasticized polyvinylchloride pipes and fittings for them to cold water." Specifications in the diameter range 90 mm, 110 mm, 160 mm, 225 mm, 315 mm, 400 mm with standard dimensional ratios - SDR 41, SDR 33, SDR 26 and SDR 21 and the working pressure from 0.63 to 1.25 MPa.

PVC pipe for sewerage are produced by DSTU B-32 B.2.5: 2007 "non-pressure pipes of polypropylene, polyethylene, unplasticized polyvinylchloride and shapes them for external sewerage houses and buildings and conduit. Specifications "in the diameter range 110 mm, 160 mm, 200 mm, 250 mm, 315 mm, 400 mm with standard dimensional ratios SDR 51 (SN 2), SDR 41 (SN 4) and SDR 33 (SN 8). These pipes are effectively used in the construction and reconstruction of the gravity sewer networks, sewage networks in the outer buildings and structures for the diversion of waste (including and industrial), gaseous and liquid media (because of good chemical resistance of PVC).

On Kalush Pipe Plant PVC pipes are equipped with sealing rubber rings manufactured by German company MDS (Germany).
PVC pipes of KPP are made of high quality raw materials produced in Germany. With the launch of polyvinylchloride production at "Karpatneftekhim," which will be licensed by the German company UHDE, KPP will start using domestic PVC.

All pipes products of KPP is certified.

PVC pipe Testing Laboratory

The quality of products at extrusion lines is constantly monitored by interchangeable supervisors. Also the factory has its own testing laboratory, what enables to control the input of raw materials and the full range of acceptance testing of finished products.
